A beautiful 2 bedroom cabin at the very top of a ridge, with majestic views of Mount LeConte. Minutes to Gatlinburg or the National Park!
This home offers main level living for those who may be mobility impaired. It requires only two steps up from the driveway, and then the main level has everything necessary – kitchen, dining, living room, bedroom with king size bed, and a full bathroom with a walk in shower and bench. There are beautiful new hardwood floors throughout. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and all the necessities. The dining area features large picture windows and has plenty of seating. The centerpiece of the living room is a beautiful mountain stone gas fireplace. The floor to ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light and gorgeous views of Mount LeConte. There is a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests, and the flat screen TV has Spectrum Silver cable channels and a Blu-ray player. The deck has a large table and chairs, so the entire group can enjoy their coffee with views in the morning or outdoor dining in the evening.
The upper level is devoted to a spacious master suite, with tongue in groove wood ceilings adding a cabin feel to this elegant space. A large jetted tub is situated perfectly to enjoy the Smoky Mountains view from the picture windows. The private balcony has furniture for two and spectacular views. There is also a flat screen TV that swivels so it can be viewed from all areas. This level has a full en suite bath, with double sinks and crisp finishes.
The lower level is the ideal hangout space for the kids (and kids at heart). The game room offers a flat screen TV, pool table, stereo, and a video arcade with over 50 classic arcade games. There is a half bath and full laundry on this level. The lower deck has a small, outdoor hot tub for tranquil evenings.
The paved driveway has plenty of room for level parking, and the home is near the very end of the road, providing maximum privacy. There is also a charcoal grill near the front porch for your own private cookout!
Only minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as minutes to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and all the attractions!
The ultimate convenience, though, may be Twinflower Summit’s location. Only 10 minutes away is downtown Gatlinburg, home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, thrill rides, arcades, mini golf, distilleries, and more. Even closer is the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, and just a few minutes further are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Dollywood. (Because this is mountain country, if you’re visiting in winter, a vehicle with 4-wheel drive and/or tire chains is strongly recommended.)
About 4 miles from this cabin is the beautiful Gatlinburg Community Center – a complex with indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room and showers. For a very reasonable fee visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex. Please check out their website for info.
Also only about four miles away is the Mills Park with a playground for the children, and covered picnic tables and grills for your get togethers. Four miles away is The Greenbriar section of The Smoky Mountain National Park. This is a lesser known entrance with many beautiful trails, plenty of parking, picnic area, playground and access to the Pigeon River throughout. Ramsey Cascades is a favorite amongst hikers.
This is a terrific location with many activities nearby and an easy 10 minute drive from downtown Gatlinburg.
